Bergen Community College & SKYed Ink Deal for Spring '10 Semester

PARAMUS - SKYed is excited to announce its partnership with Bergen Community College to provide LEED Green Associate and Accredited Professional exam preparation classes starting in the 2010 spring semester.  Recently, the college introduced a new campaign called "Bergen Goes Green".  SKYed is proud to contribute to the community college's green intitiatives by teaching green building design and construction practices for the school's Division of Continuing Education. 
 
In a recent article entitled "Green is Color of Future for NJ College Students" Bergen announced that "The college will soon offer test-prep classes for contractors who want to be certified in environmentally sensitive “LEED” building practices."  The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design exam preparation courses are intended for professionals looking to obtain the LEED GA or AP+ specialty designations.  The LEED designations are intended for professionals ranging from building managers, contractors, owners, architects, engineers, real estate agents and other green building related professionals that would like to stand apart from their peers.  From an article ("Get a green job in two years") in Fortune magazine "Community colleges are at the forefront when it comes to training for eco-economy careers."
