SKYed Eco Education is New York City's premier green building education provider. SKYed is dedicated to providing the quality courses to keep New York City design, building, and real estate professionals abreast of the latest in the green building industry.
SKYed includes a comprehensive portfolio of green building education options and has partnered with the American Institute of Architects, New York Chapter Center for Architecture in Greenwich Village and LMNOP. SKYed has also partnered with the recently relaunched website, GreenBuildingsNYC.com to create New York-related educational content for their site.
SKYed was co-founded by Brian Wennersten who since has been able to combine his interests in Business Economics, the Environment, Real Estate, and Design & Construction.
The SKYed Principal is a proud member of the Emerging Green Builders Committee of the U.S. Green Building Council, New York Chapter (recently renamed "Urban Green Council), and the Young Leaders Group of the Urban Land Institute, New York Chapter.

Brian Wennersten is an experienced LEED® Accredited Professional who has worked as a consultant on projects ranging from commercial office buildings, an airport tower, retail centers, to higher education buildings. He currently serves as Project Manager for an eco-friendly residential contractor, Wennersten Design + Construction, Inc. Brian has a B.S. in Environmental & Business Economics from Rutgers University and is a member elect of the Rutgers University Alumni Association Board.  Maria Dolores Monsalve Jimenez, Architect, LEED Green Associate Sustainability Design Coordinator
Based in Mexico, Maria brings additional International presence to SKYed's rapidly expanding global reach. Maria has experience on numerous projects as both a Project Designer and Manager. Maria holds a Bachelor's Degree of Architecture from the Universidad de Guanajuato, Mexico.
Executive Advisor of LEED Education / Instructor
Yvonne Saavedra Limb has teamed up with SKYed Eco Education in teaching LEED AP Program Courses. She is a Licensed Architect as well as a LEED® Accredited Professional, who is a seasoned construction professional of over 20 years. Ms. Saavedra Limb is full time employed by Ferezan, Robins & Associates and acts as a Senior Executive Advisor to LMNOP (Leadership, Mentoring, Networking, Opportunity for A&D Professionals).
Additionally she has been an educator and mentor throughout her career, particularly:
· Ten years of experience with the New York University faculty · LEED GA, BD&C, and NC Test preparation classes for the AIA, NY Chapter the Center for Architecture · LEED NC Test preparation classes for LMNOP members
